The esplanade and port area of Los Cristianos will host a series of activities over the weekend airmed at tourists visiting the town according to the mayor of Arona, Jose Alberto Gonzalez Reveron and his councilor for Tourism, Angel David Herrera. Los Cristianos Properties is only 50 meters.
The objective of this initiative is to pay homage to all those visitors who have chosen the municipality as a holiday destination, ´seeking to bring to our tourists the customs and traditions, those that are most deeply rooted in popular cultur.´The programe will begin (Friday) at 6 pm with the VII Regional Cockail Competition with participating barmen from differet points of the archipelago. The winner of the contest will qualify for the national contest to be held in Barcelona, as well as internationally, in Germany.
After this event, tourist and locals taste the different cocktails that are prepared in the competition. Also ther will be various musical performance throughout the evening.
