Siam park serves up beach volleyball |

The Tenerife Champions Cap, the best of beach volleyball in Tenerife, is taking place in the incomparable setting of the recently opened Siam Park. The event will be held from 3dh october until Sunday.
The largest waterpark in Europe, based in Adeje, will play host to eight ot he best European teams, including Spain´s Olympic pair Pablo Herrera and Raul Mesa, who are looking for a repeat of last year, when they won in Dolphin Beach against Russians Koshkarev and Prokopiev.

Siam Park the most spectacular water park in the whole of Europe is now open.
The park, based on the old Kingdom of Siam, is absolutely spectacular and is expected to receive 600,000 visitors a year.
At the opening ceremony the Guest of honour was the Princess of Thailand, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and 50 youngsters were given complimentary access to try the rides for the first time.Los Cristianos Properties was there.

Tourists are getting younger |

The Survey of inbound Tourism for first half of the year also reflects an increase of family tourism.
Tourists who visited Tenerife in the first half of the year are younger then those who came in 2007, it appears from the data analysed by Tourism Tenerife and Provided by the Survey of Inbound Tourism. |

The flower clock Garcia Sanabria Park was the scene of the official presentation of the 70 young hopefuls to be crowned this weekend as Miss and Mister Tenerife 2008. 35 girls and 35 boys from different municipalities in the province are in the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where they will participate in the various events, cluminating with the election of the galas, on Friday, 26 of september, and Miss Tenerife, on the evening of Saturday 27.
