Adeje, 13th to 19th October
This is the biggest and most important fiesta of the year for Adeje, with religious, cultural, sporting and festive events all the family. A fabulous, no to be missed romería takes palce at lunchtime of Sunday 19th in the Calle Grande, the town´s main street, with wagons and folk groups, followed by the Baile de Magos in the evening for which traditional dress (that can be hired) is esssential. This fiesta attracts both residents and tourists who can not only enjoy the local folklore but also typical Canarian food and drinks.
